Baywatchers can see "the sunrise from bed" at this "delightful" resort in Safety Harbor, where the "newly refurbished" rooms are "spacious and modern", and the facilities include "excellent" pools (fed by natural springs), a "well-appointed" fitness center, tennis courts and an Aveda spa for "recharging the batteries"; note that it's "not particularly kid-friendly" and a "family traveling on a tight budget" might want to steer clear, since "everything requires an extra fee."

Nice room and nice heated pool. Only a couple friendly hotel staff member.
Extra room charge! Unfriendly hotel staff. Frowned upon children being there. No wireless internet for full 3 days. Dirty parking lot.

Beautiful hotel and very nice rooms. Great location. Nice heated pool, kids loved it. However, I was not expecting an extra $16 / night room charge that is not included in the normal price per night. It is awarded to you when you check in. They say it is to cover extra charges such as wireless internet and newspaper delivery. I know many other less expensive hotels that offer these things and don't hide the fees. ...read more

Beautiful town, nice lobby.
Old dirty hallways, weird layout of room, scary elevators.

Beautiful lobby makes one think you've arrived at a nice place. once in the elevator the place was horrid. I was unable to find my room, being unaccompanied, had to knock on a door answered by a non English speaking artist who pointed down a ramp. I was told there was a mini-bar by the bell-hop. There was none.1st room was 1 king bed. Requested 2 doubles, traveling with my husband and my sister! Second room was in another county. ...read more

Very clean, nice view, people at front desk very friendly.
Unhappy with $16 charge that I was not told about prior to booking.

Although I only stayed in the hotel for one night, everything was very nice about it. It was very clean, and had a very friendly staff. The only problem was that I was not informed of an amenities charge of $16. This charge was for things such as using the pool and using the wireless internet. So even though I was only staying one night, I still had to pay for all those things. The only other qualm I had was the overpriced breakfast. But as far as the facilities go, it was a very nice resort. ...read more

Everything you could expect exceeded what I expected.
Nothing.

The room was large, clean, and the service was wonderful. This was one of the best experiences that I have had with a hotel in my 30 years in staying in them. All the people working there were wonderful and went out of there way to to accommodate our every need. The setting is great and everything you could want is in walking distance. ...read more

It was beautiful and the staff were very
accommodating.
I was surprised that there was no fridge/micro in the room even though big.

I would recommend this to any couple or family that would like a relaxing vacation spot, surrounded by water, with lots of amenities. Beaches within 15 minutes. Very nice!
